BAS INVITES:
FLORE 4-Hands DINNER SERIES

For the first time, exclusively for a series of 4-hands dinners in which Executive Chef Bas van Kranen shares the kitchen with FOUR chefs who inspire him. This summer and autumn, the kitchen at Restaurant Flore changes shape — not as guest shifts or takeovers, but as conversations between chefs who approach cooking differently, yet recognise something familiar in each other’s work.

Each dinner begins with a personal connection: a conversation, a shared obsession, a mutual respect for ingredients and the natural world. What follows is expressed through a one-of-a-kind menu, bringing together the conscious fine dining philosophy of Flore with new perspectives, techniques, and seasonal inspirations from each invited chef.

11, 12 & 13 September | FLore x Bakkerij WOLF

Bakery Wolf is one of our favourite bakeries in Amsterdam, and we’re celebrating together. All weekend, discover our brioche × Japanese milk bread, served with a cocoa-free chocolate paste made from leftover sourdough — limited to fifty per bakery, per day. At the Zuidas, the Flore team takes over to turn it into a katsu sando.

18 - 19 September | FLore x Lindenhoff

We move Restaurant Flore to the pastures of Baambrugge for a unique dining experience, cooking with what the garden has to offer. The menu features a garum of Kamper lamb from 2025 and Baambrugge pig, dry-aged for four weeks.

20 September | Flore's Reunion

For one day, former managers, sommeliers and chefs of Restaurant Flore reunite in Amsterdam to create a special menu, celebrating five years of Restaurant Flore through the people, flavours and stories that have shaped our journey.

27 September | Flore X Vuurtoreneiland

Cooking at Vuurtoreneiland has been a dream of ours for years. Restaurant Flore heads to the island for the final day of their summer restaurant — a unique culinary collaboration at one of Amsterdam’s most remarkable locations, reachable only by boat.

30 September | Bas Invites: Five Chefs

Bas invites five guest chefs who inspire him the most and the journey of Restaurant Flore for a one-night-only twelve-hands dinner in Amsterdam. Six chefs come together in one kitchen to create a menu especially for the occasion. What we will cook? Even we don’t know that yet.

RESTAURANT FLORE BOOK

Chef Bas van Kranen is writing his first book about Restaurant Flore, capturing the stories, philosophy, ingredients and creativity behind his fine-dining restaurant in Amsterdam. Pre-sale opens on 11 September. The first thousand copies come with something extra: an exclusive recipe that cannot be found in the book…
